English people traditionally speak the English language, a member of the West Germanic language family. The modern English language evolved from Old English, with lexical influence from Norman-French, Latin, and Old Norse. Cornish, a Celtic language originating in Cornwall, is currently spoken by about 3,500 people. Historically, another Brythonic Celtic language, Cumbric, was spoken in Cumbria in North West England, but it died out in the 11th century although traces of it can still be found in the Cumbrian dialect. Because of the 19th century geopolitical dominance of the British Empire and the post-World War II hegemony of the United States, English has become the international language of business, science, communications, aviation, and diplomacy. English is the native language of roughly 350 million people worldwide, with another 1.5 billion people who speak it as a second language

The English are a nation and ethnic group native to England who speak English. The English identity as a people is of early medieval origin, when they were known in Old English as the Anglecynn.

The largest single English population reside in England, a constituent country of the United Kingdom. They are often believed to be a mixture of several closely related groups that have settled in what became England, such as the Angles, Saxons, Norse Vikings and Normans.

This group forms the largest part of the racially-based classification used in the 2001 UK census known as White British. More recent migrations to England include peoples from a variety of different regions of Great Britain and Ireland and many other countries, mostly from Wales, Scotland, Ireland, and Commonwealth countries. Some of these more recent migrants and their descendants have assumed a solely British or English identity, while others have developed dual or hyphenated identities. However, they would normally identify themselves on the census as White Other or Asian British or Black British.

The only formality to be completed is the registration of the Home Office, which shall be made on the form WRS (Worker Registration Scheme). For this form shall be accompanied by an ID card or passport, two photos and proof of payment of £ 50. After the positive consideration of the proposal is a card for registration.

Thus, the formalities are almost nil, and anyone who is just like this and a little courage can take a chance and go look for happiness and working in England. It would be that before this is done, got to know a little bit country and the situation prevailing at that the labor market. Therefore, I encourage you to read on this site, which tried to explain all the complexities of living and working in England. I tried that, the information presented by me is the closest to the truth and the real situation, but probably not ustrzegłem errors and mistakes. So I suggest before leaving to talk yet with specialists in your local employment office.

In England, is relatively easy to find work in pubs, hotels, restaurants, amusement parks, farms, etc. They have a lot of jobs, especially for the foreigners, because the offer low wages, and ensure that the hard work, which makes that ethnic British rather avoid them . As a citizen of the Union, England can take any work in any profession, but you can see almost total disappearance of the demand for unskilled workers, not władających well in English.

If you believe that the information presented on the page are useful and would like to help author the site to maintain the server on the right side, at bottom, there is a PayPal button, which you can give the author a donation in any amount. Thank you in advance for any donations.

The total area of England is 130 410 square kilometers, equivalent to 57 percent of land in Britain. England to include the region in the southwest upstream of the Scilly Isles, off the south coast of the Isle of Wight located and the Isle of Man in the Irish Sea between England and Northern Ireland.

The capital London is the biggest city and main port city of England. At the same time, London is also the capital of the United Kingdom (Britain).

The heavily indented coastline is one of the main physiographic features of England. In England there are a variety of different natural areas. The Highlands region covers the Pennines in northern England. It consists of several chains, which differs from the Cheviot Hills to the south to the Peak District just north of the river valley of the Trent cover. The highest peak in England is located in the Lake District Scafell Pike (978 meters) in the county of Cumbria, one of the most scenic regions see England counts.

The region between the Welsh border, the southern foothills of the Pennines and the Bristol Channel is used by hills. In this area close to the east in central England to the Midlands. The flattest part of England lies east of the Pennines and the Midlands. It runs from the Yorkshire Moors (a highland foothills of the Pennines) to Lincolnshire to fertile farmland East England. This includes the plains Fens, a largely drained marshes, as well as the broad estuary of some rivers, such as the Ouse and the Witham.

After the Union, England (including Wales) retained its separate legal identity since the continuance of the separate Scottish legal system was enshrined in the Articles of the Treaty of Union. Wales was already part of the Kingdom of England but the Wales and Berwick Act 1746 made explicit that laws passed for England were automatically applicable to Wales. The Wales and Berwick Act 1746 also referred to the formerly Scottish burgh of Berwick-upon-Tweed. The border town changed hands several times and was last conquered by England in 1482, but was not officially incorporated into England. Contention about whether Berwick was in England or Scotland was ended by the union of the two in 1707. Berwick remains within the English legal system and so is regarded today as part of England (though there has been some suggestion in Scotland that Berwick should be invited to ‘return to the fold’).The county of Monmouthshire has long been an ambiguous area with its legal identity passing between England and Wales at various periods. In the Local Government Act 1972 it was made part of Wales. The Isle of Man and the Channel Islands are Crown dependencies and are not part of England.

The city’s streets are packed with cutting-edge restaurants, designer bars and world class museums.

And Bristol’s music, media and nightlife scenes are really showing the rest of the country how things should be done. It’s real, raw, and just a little rough around the edges. If you really want to know where Britain’s at right now, then you should probably add Bristol to your itinerary.
