Liverpool

Liverpool – a city located on the west coast of northern England, about 340 km from London, on the northern bank of the River Mersey estuary. The headquarters of the county of Merseyside. Counts about 500 thousand inhabitants.

It is the second center after London port of Great Britain and one of the most important of such centers in the history (thanks to the slave trade, and trade and passenger communications with America).
